Mikael Flodell.

Mikael Flodell is an award-winning creative producer, director, and entrepreneur. Born in Argentina in 1967, and later raised and educated in Stockholm, Sweden. Flodell moved to Los Angeles in 1992 where he established himself as a producer of music videos, commercials, and later documentaries.

Later Mikael Flodell returned to Stockholm where he founded modfilm & co. Under Flodells leadership as a CEO modfilm & co became of the leading production companies for the Scandinavian advertising market resulting in numerous international awards at Cannes Lions and other.

In 2000 Flodell founded flodellfilm, which is considered as an icon and as one of the most influential commercial production houses in Sweden. Five years later Flodell and director Johan Brisinger founded Drama Svecia focusing on producing high-end feature films and Television.

Under Flodells supervision Drama Svecia developed original content resulting in award-winning films including the A-listed, Berlin International Film Festival and 20 other festival awards for the short film “Passing Hearts” aka En Del Av Mitt Hjärta.” Guldbagge and three international awards for the feature film ”Underbara Älskade” aka ”Suddenly.” Three international awards for the Feature film ”Änglavakt” aka ”Among Us.

Another 15 International festival recognitions for short films ”Good Advice,” ”Want to See Something,” When Elvis Came To Visit” and ”Fuga.”. Flodell is currently in Production, and busy developing content for all platforms and media.
